A few things...
(1) At the end of this post you find the events list for our meet vs. UA Hastings on Wednesday.
(2) Today was a tough practice for several reasons. Many athletes are experiencing mid-season aches and pains, the best way to deal with those is ICE and REST - that's why we have Tuesday off from practice, for you to REST. With those aches and pains in mind I would try not to do anything strenuous on our off day, other than homework! The Ohio weather is always fun to deal with, after a brief team meeting we moved outside, into the storm, but of course 10 minutes later - sunshine and dry. Also, not only are athletes experiencing aches and pains, so our some of our coaches. So today's practice was lead by Coaches Mack & Stegman as Coach B has bronchitis and Coach Stanford is preparing for final exams. Lastly, today was a physically tough practice as all of the athletes participated in on-track workouts. Great job everyone!
(3) Considering many of the aches and pains some of our athletes are experiencing we would like to have EVERYONE plan to participate in the Big Walnut Invitational this coming Saturday. The bus leaves at 7:30 AM from Worthingway, the meet SHOULD be over before 4 PM - hopefully earlier, this meet only has 10 teams and runs very smoothly.

(5) Lastly, we need a good number of volunteers for the Worthington Invitational, Saturday, May 7th. The meet begins at 10 AM. We will need volunteers there as early as 9 AM and there through the end of the meet, 4 PM(?). Some of the positions Worthingway parents are responsible for filling include: ticket booth (3 volunteers, 4 shifts); high jump (3 volunteers); long jump (3 volunteers); and part of the hospitality tent.
