Let the games begin!

Good morning Worthington Middle School tracksters and welcome to the 2014 season! The coaching staff is so excited to meet and begin working with each of you. So far there are nearly 140 athletes signed up to participate with practice beginning in beautiful Ohio weather (at least for the first two practices).

There is some important information to share that everyone needs to be aware of:
1) Practices are held Monday-Friday at Worthingway right after school until 5:15 PM.

2) In order to be able to practice EVERY athlete needs a current physical form (http://www.worthington.k12.oh.us/cms/lib02/OH01001900/Centricity/Domain/242/Preparticipation%20Physical%20Evaluation%202013-14.pdf) on file in the office and an emergency medical "pink" card (http://www.worthington.k12.oh.us/cms/lib02/OH01001900/Centricity/Domain/242/Athletics%20Emergency%20Medical%20Authorization.pdf) in the possession of coaching staff. You WILL NOT be permitted to practice until these two forms are filed correctly.

3) In order to participate in meets athletes, in addition to the physical form and pink car, must have:

• Participation Fee: $125 payable to Worthington Schools, be sure to include the athletes name in the memo of the check or money order.

All of these additional forms will be available at the parent meeting.

4) Speaking of parent meeting, all parents (and athletes) must attend the meeting in the auditorium of Kilbourne Middle Schol; 6:30 PM, Monday, March 10th (same day as the first practice). We will discuss team policies and expectations during this meeting so it is critical that athletes and parents attend. The mandatory ATOD meeting, presented by Mr. Clark, will follow immediately for those families that have yet to attend that meeting this school year.
